It’s my favorite time of the year, autumn, and in Chicago it’s a brief but cherished time. We left the muggy 90 degree weather, steam-packed “L” train cars, crowded beaches, iced coffees, and summer behind. A city that is known for complaining citizens who wish for summer and when it gets here, wish for fall. Fall has made its appearance and our first clue was the Pumpkin Spice lattes. Followed by slightly cooler nights and mornings, which everyone is glad for, now we don’t have to take two showers during the day, or be stuck in a packed bus or train with those who don’t.
Does it mean all of the summer festivals are gone, and we are forced to stay indoors and binge watch Netflix?
Good news, not only is it acceptable to binge watch Netflix more than ever, but festivals and activities are not over.
I put together a list of the best things to do this fall:
Open House Chicago
